aling lina post

bigla ko lang naalala.. meron nga pala kong dapat ipopost.. last feb pa to eh.. hehe..

...feb26.11...Since I started working in a call center, limited time na yung panonood ko ng tv. I’d rather sleep or go out kung may free time lang din ako, pero kanina I was able to watch Eat Bulaga. I can’t say that I am a fan of a noon time show, pero since we don’t have cable, and parang interesting yung episode kanina, I watched it. They have a segment there where some of the hosts will have a concert and earlier its bossing vic’s turn. He has a special guest, an old woman from san juan named aling lina. They knew aling lina because of the juan for all, all for juan segment. Sya daw yung lady na mahilig kumikback. Hehe.. at first nung pinakilala sya, its so funny. Nakomatose si aling lina and some parts of her body were not functioning. Ang biro nya nga since 10k lng yun binigay sa kanya dati, 1 daliri nya lang yun nagagalaw nya. Meron pa daw 4 fingers na dapat gumalaw at makaramdam. Makulit si aling lina. Nakakatawa kasi everytime na magprepresent ng gift sila bossing, humihirit sya ng cash! They gave her a new wheelchair, a new bed, medicines, and a free check up to st. lukes. Tapos they sang her fave song na hindi na rin maalala ng matanda. Tapos binigyan din sya ni bossing ng 20k and she even joke that 2 of her fingers were now functioning because of that. Sobrang nakakatouch yung gestures nila, I can’t help crying especially when aling lina was saying her million thanks to bossing. Even si bossing naiyak dahil dun. Crying and laughing at the same time, kasi biglang itinanong nya kung sure daw bang wala syang babayaran. Baka daw bigla syang habulin sa st. lukes. Hehehe.. Siguro kaya libo libo ang umaasa sa mga noon time shows at iba pang shows sa tv kasi dahil sa hirap ng buhay and there most of them talagang natutulungan. Sana the gestures of people from the media will be an example to those in the government and to us na kahit ordinaryong mga tao, may mga maitutulong din naman tayo sa kapwa natin. I hope shows like eat bulaga and other shows who aim to help others will last. :)

april fools day...

hmmm... i just realized na 1 year na pala tong blog ko last march 28.. hehehe.. ang galing naka1year na... pero 12entries lang ang laman.. haha.. sayang sa space! :) april 1 today meaning its april fools day.. anu nman kaya mangyayari ngaung araw na to... bahala na.. :)

super long overdue na ng kota post ko.. 1month ago pa ung trip pero ndi ko pa rin napopost.. hehe.. di makabwelo ng bongang bonga.. di bale next time tlaga ipopost ko na..

i decided that instead of creating a new blog, dito na lang din ipost lahat ng mga gala ko (kung may mga susunod pa) i realized that there's no use in creating a new one dahil meron namang existing na.. papahirapan ko lang sarili ko plus i dont think i need to create a super perfect blog for others.. anyway ang main reason ko nman of keeping a blog is for me to have a space to write everything/anything eh.. dito na lang din pati yun.. baka sa susunod na mga araw.. ndi na rin nakaprivate to.. hehe.. bahala na.. :)

its really fascinating to learn info upon checking one's site.. im not a fan of browsing pages of people in facebook.. most of the time when i comment on something it is because i saw the status on may page or i was tag to the post.. but today i took the time to actually visit some of my friends/"friends" pages and was surprise to found out some interesting facts! 1. i learned that he doesn't have a dad anymore.. sad! 2. a friend will become a father soon! wow.. that one i dont really expect this early.. hehe.. but happy to him! 3. so he's really married.. wow.. ok get over it! hehehe.. 4. the last time i check, so sila na? what happen dun sa 1.. ang lupet!

kota-kinabalu escapade

TRAVEL DESTINATION:  Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia

TRAVEL DATE:  February 21-24, 2011

yey sa wakas naupload ko na rin ang saksakan ng daming photos ng kk trip namin.. hehe.. syang ung last day pics namin kasi nacorrupt... andun pa naman yung bongang cake ng secret recipe.. :)

anyway... the trip is super duper as in fun.. infairness sa first trip kong ito sobrang lucky namin during those days.. lots of discounts and super fun experience tlga... mejo kinbahan pa namin kami kasi prior to our trip ang daming aberyang nangyari... buti na lang ladyluck smile onto us during those days kaya bonga ang birthday vacay!

this trip is full of coincidence... lucky coincidences... 1st yung ticket namin... supposedly we planned to go to bora kaya lang wlang murang ticket.. then we came across air asia.. tapos wala kaming credit card to book the 3k plus ticket nila.. so we waited na lang for monday... luckily.. dahil sa paghihintay namin saktong may 0 fare promo sila (as in ZERO) tax lang ito teh... the ticket cost.... PHP550.00 back and forth! bonga tlga... kahit matagal paghihintay (9months) keri lang kasi sakton birthday month naman namin.. ang saya!

bago kame umalis may mga aberyang nangyari which resulted to low fund.. buti na lang mura lang ang mga keme dun.. umabot lang ng almost 11k yun nagastos ko kasama na lahat... sobrang daming discounts na nakuha namin... from island hopping, food (ndi kame nagnoddles! hehe) and pasalubong even fares going around (though most of the time lakad lang kami kasi malalapit lang!) sobrang saya tlga...

DAY 1 - sayang yung libreng shuttle sana namin from the airport.. ndi kasi dumating yung confirmation namin from the lodge. pero ok pa rin kasi nice naman si manong driver.. tpos very honest sila sa price ng fare.. so ok lang.. pagdating sa lodge binaba lang namin ung mga gamit namin.. konting freshen up and go na sa labas.. dahil malapit lang ang hotel sa mall xiempre binisita na namin sila.. tas we had dinner at La Manila.. sarap ng food kaya lang weird ng lasa ng sprite... hehe.. after magikot ikot balik na sa hotel to upload photos (may libreng net connection sa hotel at libre gamit rin ng pc!) and xiempre para magpahinga na for the next day!

DAY 2 - we decided na mag island hopping na kasi baka magkaron na ko (buti na lng napapakiusapan xa.. pagbalik pa ng manila dumalaw! hehe) we headed to jesselton for the island hopping pero xiempre dahil mababait mga tlga lavender (that's the lodge) nag ask muna kami how to go there and mga tips for the island hopping... lucky for us kasi meron palang discount coupon na pinamimigay sa lodge.. we save some ringgits! yey! pag dating namin ng jesselton may pilipinong kumausap samin... sakto naman na dun pala xa nagtratrabaho sa designated booth na dapat naming puntahan for the tour.. pagkatapos ng kwentuhan at picture taking another discount! this time ung mga gadgets nman namin the snorkling and vest.. hehe.. saya tlga... tas mga crew sa ferry can speak tagalog din kaya bongga! 

we visited sapi island and manukan island. for me mas gusto ko sa sapi kasi mas maganda yun dagat.. as in yun mga fishes nakikipaglaro sau... sa manukan kasi though maganda yung sand, maxado na xang commercialized tas kakatakot pa yun dagat... parang kakainin ka.. hehe.. besides may super duper cute na foreigner sa sapi kya bet ko tlga dun... ang ganda pa ng mga pics ko... bwahaha... ang kapal lang

we had lunch at manukan.. dun lang kami kumain sa mumurahing cafeteria.. masarap naman tas malaki pa ang serving for only rm4.50.. walang pics yun kasi nakalimutan namin sa sobrang gutom.. hehe.. yung potato chips na lang meron..

for the island hopping you can decide what time ka susunduin ng ferry from one island to the other and back to the port... aus... nung time ng uwian grabeng experience... galit sa dagat ang crew ng ferry.. pumapatok.. parang driver lang ng stop and shop na jeep.. hehe

at the port ulet.. tinikman namin ung gelato nila... sobrang yummy!!!! as in tlga... hehe.. at dahil sa kakalangoy ko at gutom na ulet kami... we headed back to lavender...

dinner is at sedco complex sa tapat ng lodge... para xang dampa dito satin.. pero ang paluto dun walang bayad! yun lang bibilhin mong seafood... we were able to purchase a kilo of crabs for only rm8.80... sobrang best buy... tas ang sarap ng pagkakaluto.. the best tlga!

DAY3 - 1borneo... mejo malayo na xa sa city proper pero ok lng kasi may libreng shuttle naman going there and xiempre sila na rin maghahatid sa inyo pabalik... we went there kasi walang size ng sapatos sa charles and keith and sabi ng sales dun punta na lang kami 1borneo para mas maraming choices.. since ndi namin makita ung terminal ng free shuttle nagcommute kame papunta dun.. sabi ng tlga lodge rm1.50 daw un pamasahe pero rm1.00 lng siningil samin.. aus.. discount na nman... hehe.. ok yung mall... ang laki tas pde kang pumasok kahit sarado pa yun mga stores.. hehe.. kaya siguro di uso mga guards sa kanila.. dito narin kami namili ng ibang pasalubong... at dito ko rin nabili ang bongang ferrero ko na buy 1 take 1 sa halagang rm55.00.. ang saya tlga.... hehehe... supposedly we will visit sana the museum sa isang university dun.. kaya lang its open everyday except wednesday! hehe.. saktong wednesday pa naman (anak ng tokwa!)

after nito balik na kame sa city to do shopping pa ulet.. we went to filipino store para mamili ng additional pasalubong.. dami rin naming discounts dito kasi madaming pinoy (tska dinaan namin sa ganda at charm! chos!) i was able to buy a pearl bracelet for only rm17 na ang regular price eh rm45.. super tawad tlga kami kasi nga limited budget eh.. tska kuripot kame noh.. hehe.. tas we went sa may seaside para bumili ng dinner... lapu lapu and pusit... aus tlga mga food sa kk.. ang mura na ang sarap pa.. wala lang kaming pics dito kasi parang ndi safe magdala ng camera and besides sino nman mkakaalalang magpicture kung nagshoshopping ka na di ba?! hehe.. tas mall ulet.. then we went to secret recipe.. ang sarap ng cake!!! the best!

DAY 4 - last day na parang ayaw na namin bumalik kasi sobrang sarap ng buhay dun.. hehe.. morning shopping tas we went dun area ng mga resto bar.. sayang nacorrupt un mga pics.. ang dami ko pa namang posing dun.. hehe.. then its time to go back to the hotel para magbyahe na papuntang airport.. nagbus lang kami kasi pde naman pala un.. mejo mahal din ang teksi compared sa bus na 1.50rm lng.. at 2pm we said our goodbyes to kk na.. pero for sure babalik kami ulet dun... :)

sobrang fun ng experience na to... as in tlgang bongang bongang nagenjoy ako kahit na nag 8days straight akong pasok kasi walang vl at kinailangan kong magswap.. sulit na sulit tlga.. sana marami pa ko mapuntahang ganito rin ka the best! or sana mas higit pa!

i bought a pizza kanina bago ko umuwi.. upon waiting for my order, i saw a family eating outside the resto. after nila kumain, since ndi pa naliligpit un table nila, there's a guy na lumapit dun ang got all those leftovers. while watching the man, i really appreciate how bless i am. i know i keep on complaining about my current status, but when you see others na mas mahirap pa un pinagdadaanan, you'll really say a prayer of thanks to God, kasi despite the fact that your complaining too much, He really gives you alot and not take your complains against you. when i got out of the resto, i saw the man eating with another man. pinagsaluhan tlga nila un tira tira. hayyy.. super thankful tlga ako kasi ndi ko dinanas un ganun. sana dumating yung time na maging kasing swerte ko or mas maswerte pa sakin yun 2 matandang nakita ko..
